About

This course is designed leaders and trams of purpose-driven organisations who want to build capability in measuring social impact for quality improvement and fundraising. It has a practical, hands-on approach to build your confidence in using core tools and frameworks for effective measurement, such as Theory of Change, logic models, outcomes frameworks, and both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. Key principles of measuring impact ethically and with purpose are woven through every module, including a Te Tiriti o Waitangi partnership lens, data sovereignty and ethics, and the importance of building trust and authentic relationships. Across four modules that combine online resources and live sessions, participants learn to design their own Theory of Change or Logic Model, identify outcomes and indicators, collect and analyse data, and use findings for improvement and storytelling. By the end of the course, they will be able to demonstrate their organisation’s impact clearly and credibly combining evidence and narrative to engage funders, strengthen programmes, and build meaningful relationships with the communities they serve.
